My journey into homecare education began in the most personal way—when my father fell ill with cancer in 2011. In that season, I witnessed firsthand the urgent need for compassionate, well-prepared caregivers—and I knew I had to do something.

Determined to make a difference, I founded Michigan’s first proprietary HHA certification school, offering training rooted in both clinical skills and compassionate care.

It became more than a school—it was a space where caregiving was honored as both a profession and a calling.

After my father’s passing in 2014, grief led me back to corporate leadership - but my heart never left this work.

Now, in 2025, I’m reigniting that mission with deeper purpose. Through HerJourney HHA Certification & Well-Being, my goal is to certify and empower caregivers worldwide—transforming how we care for others, and ourselves.

2012 Ribbon Cutting – Opening Day of
Michigan’s First Proprietary Home Health Aide School

  • I motivate from the soul, not the spotlight. My voice can fill a room, but I treasure stillness just a much.
  • In high school, I sang classical and opera - and earned scholarships to three universities for it. (Yes I have range - literally and figuratively!)
  • I've never met a journal or affirmation mug I didn't love! My shelves are half inspiration, half HomeGoods.
